We send our best wishes and sincere thanks to Nichol Wheatman who has taken a well earned retirement after being the Church Organist since 1995.

At the Harvest Festival Service on 8th October 2006, a presentation was made to Nichol by Jack Smith and Sylvia was presented with a basket of flowers. Mary O'Donnell paid tribute to Nichol, who has also served Bottomboat and Hanging Heaton Methodist Churches, and made a presentation on behalf of the Wakefield Circuit.

Our thanks and best wishes go to Nichol and Sylvia from all their friends at Walton and throughout the Wakefield Circuit.
